Welcome To The Doll House by Danity Kane

Since I become a mother, my head is full of children songs and nursery rhymes. Now that my children are older, I am beginning to make some space in my brain for some R&B or pop songs.

Danity Kane is a group which I found interesting. This group is formed via the MTV reality show “Making the Band”. Five beautiful women, each with superb vocal and dance appeal, were put together in a group. The coordination and blending of their voices in each song brings out the unique vocal of each singer.

“Poetry”, an emotional yet beautiful song which I can listen to over and over again, is one of the songs found in their second studio album “Welcome to the Doll House”, released on 18th March 2008. Danity Kane invites each and every one of us to visit them in their doll house to get to know each of them better. There are five different women in there with different backgrounds and different singing style.

Do take a peep at their live performance and interview at Wal-mart Soundcheck, a site where you can find new artists, latest music release, live performances and exclusive behind the stage footage.

Sheryl Crow at Wal-Mart Soundcheck

“All I wanna do is have some fun, I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun, I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard”

I just can’t stop myself from moving and dancing to the music every time I hear this song, a wonderful song which is found in the album “Tuesday Night Music Club” which won multiple platinum awards.

Sheryl Crow, a pop singer and songwriter, has launched her latest album “Detour” which very much depicts what she has gone through in life or her life journey. It reveals the personal life of Sheryl which includes the breakup of her relationship with Lance Armstrong, her breast cancer and her adopted child, Wyatt, and it touches on political issues such as the high price of fuel and energy.

This is a fantastic album which is worth buying and keeping, just like her previous albums. What I like most about the production of this album is the spirit of Sheryl who doesn’t shy away from problems or to hide from the world but to face it with great courage.
