Fun Learning

Many parents find teaching their children difficult. Well, for me, I find teaching my children rather challenging. I always believe children learn best when they are happy. So, blending some element of fun in their learning and studies have always been in my to-do list.


"It's All About Play" is a blog I jolt down my experience and my approach in teaching my children and the little games that we played.

Spelling Headaches

Have you ever had problems teaching your child to write or spell? I do! My middle child just refuses to learn his spelling and the only thing he would do willingly is to write his name. That’s all.


One day, he came home from school and told me that he had ejaan (spelling in Malay language). So, I started teaching him everyday but guess what I get from him? “Mummy, I don’t want to learn today.”, “Mummy, I know how to spell but I don’t want to tell you.” and all sorts of excuses he can think of.


So, what did I do? Hop over to my play blog to take a look.

Ball Oh Ball

Children love balls. At least my children love balls. Every time they see a ball, they would pester me to buy them one despite the many balls lying in the toy box. So, what do you do with a ball in your hand? You roll it, throw it, bounce it or kick it.


One day, the kids and I got together to play with the ball and soon they became bored. So, I did this.

Have Fun With Our Children

It's fun to play with our children and to have fun with them. In the process of having fun, the children learn and they absorb. I am constantly learning to instil the element of fun in their studies and learning. So, I came out with this. Would you support me?
