Chinese New Year has always been a happy festival for my children. With so many delicacies to enjoy and cousins to play with, they love going back to my in laws’ house. As for me, I’m happy to see my sisters in law. We can chat like sisters and I’m really glad to have sisters in law like them.
This time around, I felt that the whole environment of the house was different and when I looked around, there were a few table lamps and floor lamps in the living hall, dining hall and rooms which were newly added. The lamps made the whole house look beautiful and cozy. Anyone who steps into the house would feel comfortable being in there.
My second sister in law is pretty good at decorating the house. Besides the lamps, she would add some lovely flowers on the tables. With the interior design, the lamps and the flowers, the house looks like a hotel and no wonder my children love staying there.

People usually design their rooms like a hotel since these lodging houses often offer the most comfort. Having even a single room that gives the same atmosphere gives people an illusion of a nightly stay at a fancy hotel.
I saw a good lampshade at this hotel once.
