Do you know what this sign is trying to tell us? “Traffic light ahead”, that’s right!
One day, on our way to Ikea, we were stuck in a slight traffic jam and that was when my daughter spotted this sign. Curios, she asked about it and we told her the meaning. It made her confused and she started asking: “We can see the traffic light from here. Why do they still need to put up this sign?”
You know, I have never really noticed this but it’s pretty logical about what she said. The question now is “Why do they still put up a “Traffic light ahead” sign when people can see the traffic light? Hmm……………

The sign is for those drivers who are speeding and forgot to slow down at the traffic light.
I think the sign should be placed in a distance before the traffic light so that the driver is aware. Nyn is quite observant, good.
