Gatherings

A gathering is when you get to meet people and hear their stories. This year around, I managed to attend three gatherings during Chinese New Year.

The first gathering was an old boys gathering, a get together among friends of secondary school. It was wonderful. We got to see our friends with prams and bottles and both hubby and I were glad that those days were over for us.

The second gathering was at Chinnee’s house where all the playgroup mummies get together to chat and eat. Oh, I do miss them very much as I couldn’t attend any more playgroup sessions nowadays. Let’s meet again more often, shall we?

The third and last gathering for the New Year is the most exciting one as I got the opportunity to meet people whom I have not seen in person, the bloggers’ gathering at Wen’s! Even though I have seen some of their photos in their blogs, reading their blogs and seeing the real persons can be so different.

Wen made a good host, entertaining us with her jokes in her beautiful house, as beautiful as she is.

Paik Ling is really funny and seeing her talk, I can’t sense that she is nauseous.

Channel is so different from what she portrays in her blog. From her “Transformers stories” I did learn something new. Ginie would know what I mean.

Jacss and her husband are a lovely couple and their handsome twins obviously got the best genes from their daddy and mummy.

Ginie is very gentle and polite and I guess she should be a very patient mummy.
