It was one of those moments again when I felt the love of my children. This time it was Wayne.
I was doing my work and Wayne came to me after his nap. He wanted me to be with him.
Me: “I have to work, Wayne.”
Wayne: “How long?”
Me: “Very long. I have a lot of work to do.”
Wayne: “Why so much work?”
Me: “Daddy has lots of work for me.”
Wayne: “Naughty daddy, why did he give you so much work?”
Me: “No, daddy is not naughty. He has a lot of work and I got to help him.”
Wayne: “Ask daddy to do himself.”
Me: “No, I can’t. Daddy pays me to work. If I don’t work, I don’t get money.”
Wayne: “Never mind mummy, you don’t have to work. I will give you money.”
Me: “Do you have money?”
Wayne: “Yes.” (Took out some coins from his coin box)
Me: “If I don’t work, what should I do?”
Wayne: “Play with me, rest and go shopping.” (as if I’m his mistress!)
Wayne then took some coins from Nyn’s coin box. Nyn came to me complaining. I then took the money that Wayne gave me and passed to Nyn. Wayne started crying.
Wayne: “Why did you give Nyn the money I gave you?”
Me: “Because you took Nyn’s money and I was just returning the money to her.”
Wayne: “No, I gave you that money and I added in my love.”
Me: *Speechless* *Touched by his love*
After awhile,
Me: “Ok, I’m sorry Wayne but you can’t take Nyn’s money without permission because that’s stealing.”
It’s one of these moments that gives me strength to carry on the journey as a mother.

Oh. That's absolutely heart melting. I am sure you melted too. I love all this moments spent with the children. They are so special. Even more special when its all blogged, kept and retrieve later.
