From the minute we dropped her at the airport last Thursday, our new life begins.
We are doing fine, just some changes to our life, that's all.
More exercise and more perspiration (house chores).
More planning and time management.
More multitasking.
More closeness within the family.
More time with the children.
More helpful children.
Less fussiness.
Less time to rest.
Less time to blog.
Less time to bloghop.
Many say that I won't be able to cope with three children, a household and work. Well, let's see how it goes and I'm going to promise myself that without the maid, our new life is going to be better and for the sake of my children, I'm just going to be tough!

Yay! Now u can walk all over the hse clad in jes a pc of towel. hahaha
Seriously, I'm sure u can do it. When every1 in the family has agreed to work towards it, I'm sure u'll all adjust well to this new life.
It's going to be hard at first, but then, you little helpers will learn how to share the chores soon. Just take it easy. :)
so you are not getting a new maid?
jia you!! it will take time to adjust to everything :)
It will be a good training and learning experience for your children and you.
Its also helpful to get a part-time helper to come into for 1 to 2 times a week... Like wiping windows, clean the toilet, scrub the kitchen... All the things that we hate to do ;-)
Gambatte! I'm sure you can do it!
It will be hard at the 1st fews months... but give u some time. i am sure u can do it.
ok I support u
it's a good idea overall. that was how life was like, and we all turned out better actually.
You can do it! It may take some time to get into a schedule, but I know you can do it. You go girl!
tough woman u are! well, give it a try...no harm, at least u know how far u all can go!! there will surely be a hard time during the transition but hope it gets better each day!!
good luck JO!
good luck Jo-N! You're not getting a replacement?
So glad that you are coping well. I'm sure you can manage with the help and support from your family. All the best to you, Jo-N.
Initially, things will be a bit of a chaos. But it will soon settle down into a routine. I think you can do it. But you probably need to enlist husband's help ie. with the dishes when he gets home, and get a cleaner for the toilets and a basic mopping over the weekend. Do you need a number? email me if you do, yea?
No worry, Jo-N, you can do it!
either u will get used to it or u need a maid!
Yes, I am sure you can do it. And on days that you need to rant a little bit, you can always do it on the blog. ;)
Don't worry, I will fully support you, my friend. I'm 100% sure that you can do it better without 'her'!Good Luck!
i'm sure it just takes time to coordinate chores and kids and then you'll be a pro. leave those things unnecessary for tomorrow or find ways to make life easier, like ta pow on days that you have more chores. and also sometimes letting the kids have 2 hours at some art class can do wonders like catching your breath and saving some sanity. i'll be around if you need to rant.
Wow, you are one tough mummy! I don't think I can cope w/o a maid. I think you can! All the best to you.
Hi Jo-n, ha ha, bet you lose some weight with all that activities.
You know, lots of immigrants arriving from Singaporeand Malaysia after being used to having maids...they sure get kelang kabote here, ha ha...house abit messy.
For some reason or othe my wife has never liked having maids, she prefers to do everything herself...I guess she enjoys it.
Sometimes I wonder what she does in the kitchen too.
Our kitchen is spotlessly clean....and sparkling too.
She's obsessed with a sparkling kitchen....ha ha. Lee.
Hang on there Jo-N. Kar Yau! It's tough but its the most enjoyable job u have come across. Take Care. CY
hugs hugs hugsssssss..... wish all the best for your new life!!
salute u Jo-N, I'm sure you can do it :)
