Remember my previous post? I know you do. Well, I managed to capture some more photos - the more extreme positions. Do you think I should correct him or leave him alone?

Difficult to change, eh?
Here are some suggestions which I have not tried.
Tammy suggested a booster seat.
Kellan suggested putting a pillow on the chair.
Laskigal suggested having him make a special seat cushion so that he would be more incline to sit on it.
Alycia suggested putting some things on the side of the chair to make the space just enough to fit his butt.
The New Parent suggested telling him and showing him several times the position we want him to sit in.

Thank you everybody for all your wonderful suggestions. I will try them out and let you know the result.

i thought it is only a phase... because I saw a few kids are doing the same.... one of the mother told me it is because they are not "focus" on sitting down there... hmmmm dunno how true
My daughter does the same thing! WE bought her a booster seat and it helps, but she still sits off kilter during meals sometimes.
Haha, cannot be helped!! Like the cantonese phrase: Mou tak kau!!! :-) I am sure one day, the butt will begin to complain, and everything will be alright.
hi! pls change my url to
http://pinaymomblogs.com
tnx!
Don't worry. He will get it right one day. :)
LOl! still the same ya!! hehe...
dont worry, once his bum becomes bigger, he wont be able to sit like that.
I don't know about other parents, but i think making them learn their lesson the hard way is much easier and has a better impact.
If i were you, I'll tilt the stool a little and let him fall off, (of course la not from a high high chair, a one feet stool should do the trick) . After he fall, explain to him why he fell, and why he is suppose to sit up right in the middle of the chair, not on its side.
Wow. Mommies do have many good ideas..
If all else fails, just let him sit the way he wants to. It must be comfortable for him.
hahhaa my girl does that too!
hehehehe...the suggestions are reasonable! Why didn't I think of those ya? Hm..hm... try to give him a high chair to make him fall down? hahaha.. Kasian ya..
Hi Jo-n,
If you have time will you visit my post today, Me and Lady Diana Thanks
oh, such a special sitting way
maybe ask him why he's siting like this? is it the chair/stool or he enjoys having one leg out? :-)
LOL! So, the same position when it's a stool that's right for his size!
Hi JO-N, my personal opinion, I would leave him alone. But observe him....if it continues couple more months maybe seek a doctor's advice?
Anyway, you know best...not to worry, kids do strange things when young.
You keep well and have a niceday, Lee.
Your blue teal gravatar showed up perfectly at my place. You either need to refresh the page, or empty your web cache! :-)
I can see your gravatar dear!! And got 169 too..yay! hahaha..thanks a bunch for your generousity.. *wink*
Oh, that is funny! I wouldn't worry too much about it though.
hahaha Both our kids r still at it eh? I always hv to correct/remind XY to sit properly. Do try out the suggestions n let me know wat works. :)
wahh..u notice that on your kids, I might not be as detail as u :). hmm...but my girl do like to take off her shoes when she goes out sigh...
let us know which way works...
emm....i'm scratching my head too! how come leh...why he chose to sit like that, really hard to udrstd? not pain meh d butt? i think it's hard to change, it might just be a phase...that i hope he will outgrow soon!!
don't worry, i think just a phase. actually my Jo also sit like this and i never think of adjusting him.
Trust me, it's not the chair. My Ryan does the same. It's like sitting that way is more comfy for them :P
