Love Q Week One

Created by Tot's Mom at Short Sweet Poems, LOVE Q is a new weekly meme where we are given a question with regards to love. Sounds interesting? Do join us and have fun. All you got to do is to click here and leave a comment stating your interest to join.

This week’s Love Q:

If you are being romantically pursued but you are not interested, what would you do to let the person know? For instance, would you be direct and blunt or would you drop hints?

My Answer:

Most girls would know how it feels to be pursued. I was rather silly when I was young, always feeling very scared and worried when pursued by someone I have no feelings for. A very good male friend of mine was always there to help me out with all my “love” problems, reading all my “love letters” and telling me what to do. Every time I told him I had to reject a boy, I knew he would be happy although he didn’t show. I think you would know why. So, my approach was rather direct but not blunt, rather straight forward but in a nice way. I’m not sure whether it hurts more but I’d rather not leave any boy out there any hope.

Good answer! I'm always scared to hurt peoples feelings that I tend to not get to the point quick enough. LOL

jo-n, you are so lucky to have a private advisor in the "love" problems :)

Gosh, I am glad I wasn't around to 'pursue' you! I would have hated that my love letters to you were being examined in such a manner! And then stamped 'REJECT'! LOL..

Hi Jo-n, thanks for visiting my site. We, women are usually cautious not wanting to hurt anyone yet pleasing everyone is of course impossible right? That's quite an experience you have - sounds like you have quite a number of fans before hehehe

Depends on how I feel about the other person. If I still want to be friends, I will drop hints. However, if i cant stand the sight of him, then, I can be really blunt!!

Tammy,

My experience is that direct rejection doesn't really hurt the other party so much if we are not blunt.

Martini,

Hahaha, looking at LB's comment, I feel so bad now.

LB,

Really? I should have kept those letters to myself? but my adviser is one who would keep secrets to himself. Hmmm...maybe I was wrong, maybe I should deal it myself.

Nurinmz,

LOL, fans? Guess all of us do, eh?

Stay-at-home mum,

Thanks for dropping by today. I've always look forward to your visit. Your approach is a good one too.

LB,

Read the above reply first, then this:

I promise you if I ever have pursuers again, I would keep everything to myself, including the love letters.

LOL.

Haha, don't worry, Jo-n... That was a long time ago, when we were all young and foolish and unwise in the art of love. That's why we seldom send love letters anymore today! :-)

Aiyo, got advisor some more! That was nice, at least you got someone to tell you what to do. Haha! Anyway, thanks for joining in. :)
