Lizzy tagged me with this fun meme. Well, I enjoyed doing it as it brings back memories.
Here goes:
What were you doing ten years ago?
Ten years ago, I was studying in a local university. That was the sweetest time I had ever had. It was fun filled days, although I had to worry about exams. There were gatherings and activities and I had the chance to join societies and learn new skills like archery (not forgetting the blue blacks I got on my arms) and martial art and French and the list goes on. Not forgetting also the performances that I took part in and the competitions that won me medals as well as those that made me sad.
What were you doing one year ago?
One year ago, I was where I am today. The only difference is that my daughter is not a baby anymore. One year ago, she was still 1 ½ years old.

Traveling
Shopping
Name five things you would never wear again.
Maternity clothes
Nursing wears
Heavy make-ups
False eyelashes (wore it a few times during performances on stage)
-
Name your five favorite "toys".
My children
My computer
My mobile phone
My teaching aids / materials
Then, CY tagged me with another meme about myself. Here goes the 6 random facts about me:
- Refer to the above, I’m not going to wear maternity clothes and nursing wears anymore. I’m lucky enough to have 3 children. They are the greatest gift for me. They are my inspiration, my motivators, my self improvement coach, my patience trainers and my life. Well, I just hope that “accidents” won’t happen.
- Refer to the above, the most important thing in life is my family – my husband and my children. Other things would come later. The same goes to blogging. It’s never the priority. So, if I don’t visit your blog as often as I did, please forgive me. I do have more important things to attend to and you know what it is.
- Refer to the above, if I am rich one day, I would rather set up an education fund to help bright students who cannot afford to further their studies and a medical fund to help sick people who cannot afford to get treatment rather than donating it to charity where we can’t be sure if the money really goes to people who need it.
- When I was in school and university, I was very active in societies and activities. I would rather learn a new skill than to sit in the library studying but I was lucky my result was above average. Life is more than just books and exams, that’s what I thought at that moment. Now that I’m a mother, I still have the same thought. I want my children to enjoy their childhood and I believe in fun learning and informal learning. Learning takes place even in the shopping mall or in the restaurant.
- I have not regretted starting this blog. In the blogsphere, I learnt many things from all of the wonderful blogging friends of mine and along the way, I met many wonderful friends. I enjoyed writing. It’s so different from talking. When you write, you do not face any audience directly and you do not need to put on a mask, to be concern over other people’s expression and feelings. I hope I get more views and suggestions from you, my buddies.
Thank you Lizzy and CY for the invitation to participate in the above meme. Now, the most difficult part is to tag some bloggers. If you have not done this before, please feel free to participate. This is meant to be fun and not meant to be stressful.
