Teach Children How To Brush Teeth

Do you have problems teaching your children the proper way of brushing teeth? Do they know the seriousness of tooth decay and cavities? Do they know how to stop tooth decay?

This post is specially written for Laura. Laura left me a message in my shoutbox asking if anybody knows of a DVD that teaches children how to brush teeth. So, I search for it via google and I found a few DVDs as listed:

1. Look Mom No Cavities DVD - This is a DVD for parents who have children aged 6 weeks to 16 years old. It shows how a tooth decay starts and how to stop it, step by step demonstration on ways to brush and floss as well as a program to promote good dental habits at home.

2. Brushing teeth videos for children - There are many videos with children's favorite characters such as Barney, Elmo, Big Bear and Jojo that would boost children's motivation to brush teeth.

Laura, I hope this list helps and to all mothers and fathers out there, if you need to know more about tooth decay, cavities and how to teach your children how to brush their teeth, do click on the link and take a look.

It is very imperative that children are given a good education early on about dental hygiene!! Before it's too late!!

So far, no problem brushing my son's teeth. He is kind of cooperative. Whether he will still be as cooperative later on, it's anybody's guess!

so good of u JO for doing this for a fren!!

so far, as long as the boys are willing to do the routine brush & not making me struggle, i'm more than happy!

anyway, i think i will still teach them the way i did for mine, haha....

My Dot enjoys brushing his teeth, only problem is, he is always brushing it the WRONG WAY, and refuses to let me help him brush the RIGHT WAY!

but i am not giving up, will continue to brush my teeth WITH Dot and show him the right way.

LB,

Yes, before they have holes here and there and pain here and there.

Aud,

Good for you.

Jacss,

I actually do not know her. I think she found my blog through google and left me a message.

KM,

I believe mothers can be very persistent. All the best.

Siew Ting,

Good.

My lovely 'a',

Thanks for dropping by my blog. Your son is too dependent on you, I guess, just like my son.

my children enjoy brushing their teeth but in wrong way and refuse me to help. What I do is, I use small towel to wipe their teeth.

Luckily XY likes to brush her teeth. Altho it may not be the correct way, I think with practice n guidance, she'll get it right eventually. But CE's giving me a diff time now. Likes to play with the brush. Well, jes waiting for the phase to pass. :)
