I believe each individual is unique in his or her own way and all of us have certain things that are quirky. Those quirky little things make us special in our own way, don’t you agree?

- What do you do when you get angry or sad? For me, I would go shopping! While I was studying in university, I had a motorcycle to carry me around. So, when I was sad or angry, I would hop onto my motorcycle and go shopping. I just need to walk and walk in the shopping complex and I would feel better. Now that I am married, I still have the urge to drive to the nearest shopping complex when I am not happy but most of the time, it didn’t happen. I know it is weird and I am beginning to think that I need a doctor!!!
- A clean freak or perfectionist or whatever you call it, I can’t stand the sight of MESS. My hands and legs would automatically start working to clean the mess.
- I can’t stand sound made by polystyrene and mechanical pencils. I just can’t stand the sound.
- I sleep talk and sleep walk ……………. when I was young! I don’t do that anymore now. I can’t imagine what I would say or do in the middle of the night especially now when I do not sleep alone anymore.
- I’m a lousy cook and that’s the fact. I don’t bake either. So, what I get are complaints from my husband but luckily my children still support me. Although I don’t cook well, they would sometimes say: “Mummy, thank you for cooking this yummy food for me.” See how they make me happy although they make me angry and sad at times too.
- Because I’m a lousy cook, we love to dine outside, in the restaurants, in coffee shops or in food stalls. I would try all kinds of food every time or should I say new dishes in the menu that I have not tried before. That’s quirky, isn’t it? My husband always go for the same dish every time he visits the same restaurant and he told me that based on his loyalty towards food, I could be very sure of his loyalty towards me too. Now, am I quirky or is he the one?

Oooo, you're a neat freak too!! I must have everything in its place, and tidy, and clean, and.. I get out of balance when things are all messy!!! But, I can't drive or ride out to do shopping so unbalanced! :-) So, I cook.. Cooking is such a stress reliever..
Thanks for telling us your quirky things! I always salute to those who can be so organize and clean! LOL...I am not like you and LB..I am messy mom, LOL..though I will get so stress to see messy rooms! But to keep all clean and tidy is just too much! too tiring and endless for me!
I am also a lousy cook and never successful in baking something ever! hahaha.. and just like you, sometimes I really want to dine outside as I want to have a delicious meals! hahaha..but Cliff will not eat well outside, so we rarely do it. We just order delivery dishes, that is a perfect solution, everybody is happy.
the last one, i think your hubby is quirky! LOL... I would love to try new dishes of course!

I know, I know, it would be tiring to keep clean. That's why I get my little helpers to clean up. They can't go to bed if the house is messy. LOL. Next time when you come to Malaysia, we go dining together. So, my husband is quirky? Yay!

That's a great list, and really not too quirky! :o) I do alot of the same things you do, except for the sleep talking/walking! My son has a friend who does that, and he spent the night once and came out of my son's room and was talking to me, but it was all jiberish, it was really strange! I just took him by the shoulders and guided him back to bed and he went right to sleep. The next day he had no memory of it.

I'm a clean freak too, but not that neat... but hubby is a real neat freak, to the point that it drives me crazy coz he loves to hide or throw my things!
