What would you go for when you look for a life partner, outer beauty or inner beauty? Many would say inner beauty is more important than outer beauty but is this always the case?
In the movie, “Penelope”, which will be released on 29th February 2008 in the US, we see a girl being rejected many times because of her looks. Penelope was badly affected by the Wilhern spell when she was born and only if she finds true love will the family curse be broken. With her parents’ effort to break the spell, many suitors came but dashed out when they saw Penelope. She was about to give up hope when a handsome gambler, Max, hired by a reporter to get a shot of Penelope, walked into the room.
Not wanting Penelope to find out his initial motive, Max disappeared when he found that he was falling in love with Penelope. Disappointed with Max’s betrayal, Penelope went on her own way away from her family. Her life adventure then begins with a new friend and a realization that she likes to be the way she is.

Hmm... I have been missing this part when my children were young too. Now, I take the opportunity when they are sleeping to go out for a movie, off course, with the maid at home.

It would be released in the US on 29 February. So, when it comes to Malaysia, it would be in March or April. Watch DVD. It's still the same.
