There were actually two incidents. I will share one with you and the other is just too personal and I would appreciate if I keep that to myself.
About noon, my tenant ran into the house and called out to me: "Please call the ambulance. Somebody fell and his head is bleeding!"
Hubby rushed out to take a look while I got hold of the phone and started calling 999. After making the call, I went out to have a look. Oh, it was an old man who fell and that old man is a very kind old man who lives nearby and voluntarily cleans the neighborhood compound everyday without asking a single cent!
It must have been the heat that he fell unconscious. We took a goods trolley to push him into our house and gave him water while waiting for the ambulance. He became conscious after awhile but his legs were too weak that he could not even move.
We then ask him where he lives and what his telephone number is so that we can inform his family. He didn't know how to reply but gave us a number "1286" as his house number. We knew very well that the house numbers are all 2 digits but hubby still went to look for his house. I don’t know what hubby did but he eventually managed to locate his house and inform his family members.
His son came and the ambulance came too but his son asked the ambulance to go and he said that he would send his father to the hospital.
Last night, we received his call asking us where his father fell as he couldn’t find his father’s identity card and he couldn’t bring his father to the hospital. I was thinking: WHY IS THE OLD MAN STILL NOT IN THE HOSPITAL? He fell at noon and it’s already night and he’s still without treatment??? What is the son thinking?
I was really confused and worried for the safety of this old man. What did the old man do to deserve this? I don’t want my children to treat me like this in future. So, I am going to put in a lot of effort to be my children’s best friend.

I find that a bit odd... no IC and cant go to hospital? If its true, then the hospital is partly to be blamed for not accepting patients without identification which is ridiculous. Anyone can die anytime while waiting for an IC!

No matter what the hospital must take the sick patient first...I know nowadays hospital are more aiming for money before doing any medication.
Hows the old man now? it is quite serious injured.
poor old man. maybe his son thought it's nothin major. but for goodness sake, he's an old man, at least bring him to a clinic right?.. so teruk punya anak.

Ya, poor old man. Really pity him. He had stroke before and I'm worried it might be another attack cos he can't move his legs.

Err.. y did he refuse the ambulance in the 1st place? Each family is unique n handle things differently. Let's jes hope that the son din take his father's injury lightly and ignore his need for a thorough check. An old man with a fall is not a small matter.
