Do You Spare The Rod?

Miche wants to know whether I spare the rod. For those who have been reading my posts, I think you should know my answer. So, what I am going to do now is to invite you to read my previous posts by clicking on the links in the passage.

Every child is different. I have to use different approach on each of my child. I have tried using the hard approach but it brings about negative effects. Then, I changed my parenting approach and now I am into positive parenting. My children are very active and playful. So, I have to put in extra effort to brush up my parenting skill. I think it is important that we become our children's best friend.

How about you?

I've always told my children that hitting is not nice and I personally use other methods to discipline my children like time out, taking away privileges, etc. I am very glad to consider you a friend and my e-mail address is tammy_and_john@hotmail.com

Tammy,

Good to hear that. I think people in western countries hit less. I have sent an email to you.

Eager to know how you will attempt on this tag.

Ling,

Don't worry. The most important thing you need is written in my post as follows:

The blogsphere is where people exchange views and share experiences. Nobody is better than anybody cos we are all good at something and I know you are good at something too.

Hi Jo-n--thank you for thinking of me! I will try to do this tag next. I'm not totally against hitting, but I don't do it. I'll fill you in on my reasoning when I do the tag (smile).

Chanel,

I am not very sucessful yet but I'm going to persevere until my children fully understand and change their attitudes. That needs a lot of patience and I just hope I can have that type of patience. Thanks Chanel, I think you are great too when it comes to Jeriel.
