I like to be clean, but not really to the extend of being a clean freak. About littering everywhere, I can never accept that. I have seen parents throwing rubbish out of the car with their kids watching them. In my mind, I was thinking, how are these children going to learn? Look at Malaysia and Singapore. How come Malaysia is so dirty whereas Singapore is so clean? The sickening thing is why some Singaporeans come to Malaysia to throw rubbish? I mean, if you can practise throwing rubbish into the dustbin in Singapore, you should also do the same here.
My children are taught to throw rubbish only into the dustbin and we even have 2 little dustbins in the car.
Look at this: It's actually a flower pot that I bought from Ikea.

By putting a plastic bag into it, it becomes a dustbin. If you are thinking green, you can recycle an oil bottle by cutting it into half.

So, all of us (hubby, children, maid and I) would throw rubbish into these dustbin when we are travelling and by the end of the day, the plastic bag will be replaced with a new one. No more excuses for throwing rubbish out of the car window!

Michelle,
Sad to see that, ya?
I get so mad when I see people toss trash out the window. Really ticks me off.

Some people just don't think it's wrong to do that.

Kelly,
You can just hang a plastic bag somewhere in the car to teach them about throwing rubbish into bins.
