Being the eldest, he was always protected by me and most of all by my mom. My mom took care of Karl in my home town (Tangkak, Johor) when he was a baby as I was working at that time and took up MBA as a part time course. Every weeked, my husband and I would take the trouble to travel from KL to Tangkak just to be with Karl. Come to think of it, it was indeed very tiring but to be positive, this arrangement actually boost my motivation to finish my MBA faster so that I can bring Karl up to KL. So, my darling grew up to be a little timid at first but now at the age of 6, he is more sporting, more open and he can even "act" in role plays in the school and during playgroup. Ways to train him? I always tell my children stories at home and make them the actors and actresses. They really enjoy that and frequently ask to switch roles. There are other ways too and these will be updated from time to time. Karl is a smart boy, very good in his English and Malay. He can read very well now and can even read a story to his brother and sister. How amazing! I have got a little helper now.
My Sweetheart: Wayne
Wayne is the middle child and the middle child is said to be always neglected but Wayne is never a neglected child. He is a happy child and he has the gift of the gap. The teachers adore him as he can really TALK! I remembered attending my MBA convocation with little Wayne still in my stomach. What a memory! Now, this little baby who went up stage with me has turned 4. Nowadays, he likes to read story books with lots of pictures, skipping all the words, off course and loves jigsaw puzzles. My worries about him not liking books and not catching up in his studies have slowly vanished. Thank goodness I am determined enough to stick to informal learning.
When I ask Karl and Wayne whether I should call Nyn "Honey" or "Angel", Karl quickly suggested: "Mummy, why don't we call her Honey Angel?" and that's how Nyn becomes the honey angel of this house. Whenever I call her: "Honey angel!", Nyn will always give me a big grin. She is so sweet, so nice and so cute. Whenever we go out shopping, she will attract many admirers who stole snapshots of her and even come all the way up just to shake her hand. Something that surprised many is her ability to converse in BAHASA MELAYU and she is only TWO years old.
My darling, sweetheart and honey angel, mummy love you so much.
